Early Life and Education
Alexander Richard Pettyfer was born on April 10, 1990 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
His parents, Lee Ireland and Richard Pettyfer, were an interior designer and an actor, respectively. He grew up in Windsor and began his career as a model for Gap at the age of seven after meeting fashion designer Ralph Lauren in New York.
Pettyfer attended The Mall School in Twickenham and Lambrook Haileybury in Berkshire.
