    Sharmila Tagore (Bengali:[ʃɔɾˈmilaˈʈʰakuɾ]ⓘ; born 8 December 1944) also known by her married name Begum Ayesha Sultana,[1] is an Indian actress primarily known for her work in Hindi and Bengali films.
